Alinta Energy and Red Energy recently participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace. 

Alinta Energy and Red Energy scored relatively high in their overall support for renewable energy, with Alinta Energy scoring a 6.6 out of 10 and Red Energy scoring a perfect 10 out of 10. 

However, Alinta Energy underperformed in nearly every other category with the next highest rating coming from their transparency in marketing at a disappointing 3 out of 10.

Conversely, Red Energy impressed in every category with multiple tens – paving the way to one of the top spots in the entire guide.

The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has Alinta Energy listed at a below-average 3.14 out of 10 and Red Energy at an above-average 6.6 out of 10.
