Red Energy vs AGL Renewables
Many electricity retailers have been going 'greener' in the past years. But, do their claims match their efforts? We've compiled data from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) report by GreenPeace and consolidated each metric into a simple table to showcase how 'green' each retailer is.
Red Energy and AGL scored relatively high in their overall support for renewable energy, with Red Energy scoring a perfect 10 out of 10 and AGL scoring an 8 out of 10.
However, AGL performed poorly in nearly every other category outside of renewable energy support.
Outside of halting fossil fuel expansion – where they scored a zero, Red Energy actually had a strong showing with tens in various categories.
