Powershop and Origin Energy recently participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the 2020 Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace.

Powershop and Origin Energy scored relatively high in their overall support for renewable energy, with Origin Energy scoring an 8 out of 10 and Powershop scoring a perfect 10 out of 10.

However, Origin Energy scored zeroes in nearly every other category.

The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has Origin Energy listed at a lowly 1.6 out of 10 and Powershop at an impressive 7 out of 10.
