Energy Australia and Dodo Energy participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace.
Energy Australia scored relatively high in their overall support for renewable energy, with an impressive 8 out of 10.
However, outside of transparency in marketing, this is the only other category Energy Australia had high marks on. Every other category outside ‘transparency in marketing’ yielded them a zero
On the other hand, Dodo Energy scored a perfect 10 out of 10 on halting fossil fuel expansion but failed to score anything higher than a 5 out of 10 on every other category.
The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has Energy Australia listed at an underwhelming 1.35 out of 10 and Dodo Energy at a poor 3.39 out of 10.
