AGL vs Dodo Energy Renewables

Does AGL or Dodo Energy rank high in renewable energy support? With many retailers going green as of late, it’s important to look at tangible data to confirm whether they are actually making an effort to go green. Find out more below. 

AGL and Dodo Energy participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace. 

AGL scored relatively high in their overall support for renewable energy, with an impressive 8 out of 10.

However, outside of transparency in marketing, this is the only other category AGL had above a zero. 

On the other hand, Dodo Energy scored a perfect 10 out of 10 on halting fossil fuel expansion but failed to score anything higher than a 5 out of 10 on every other category. 

The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has AGL listed at an awful 1.2 out of 10 and Dodo Energy at a poor 3.39 out of 10.
