AGL and GloBird Energy participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the 2020 Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace.
AGL scored relatively high in its overall support for renewable energy, with an impressive 8 out of 10.
However, this is the only category AGL scored high on. Every other category yielded them a zero.
On the other hand, GloBird Energy scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in the category of halting fossil fuel expansion but performed below average in all other categories.
The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has AGL listed at an abysmal 1.2 out of 10 and GloBird Energy at a subpar 3.54 out of 10.
