Simply Energy vs Dodo Renewables

Do Dodo and Simply Energy rank high in renewable energy support? Retailers are transitioning to green energy and promoting their efforts to the public. However, it’s important to see the actual data so you can see what metrics are used and how well they fared. 

Simply Energy and Dodo participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace. 

Simply Energy scored near-perfect marks in the category of ‘halting fossil fuel expansion’ but failed to match its high marks in every other category. 

Dodo also scored a 10 in ‘halting fossil fuel expansion’, and similar to its counterpart, did not fare well in every other category.

The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has Simply Energy listed at an below-average 2.59 out of 10 and Dodo at a subpar 3.39 out of 10.
