AGL vs CovaU Energy Renewables

Does CovaU Energy or AGL rank high in renewable energy support? Retailers are transitioning to green energy and promoting their efforts. However, it’s important to see the actual data so you can see what metrics are used and how well they fared. 

AGL and CovaU Energy participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace. 

AGL scored relatively high in its overall support for renewable energy, with an impressive 8 out of 10.

However, this is the only other category AGL had high marks on.

On the other hand, CovaU Energy excelled in certain categories but also underperforming in others, with their highest being a ten in the category of “halting fossil fuel expansion”. 

The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has AGL listed at a terrible 1.2 out of 10 and CovaU Energy at a below-average 4.14 out of 10.
