Does Lumo Energy or AGL rank high in renewable energy support? Retailers are transitioning to green energy and promoting their efforts. However, it’s important to see the actual data so you can see what metrics are used and how well they fared.
AGL and Lumo Energy participated in a study that measured their efforts toward sustainability and support for renewable energy. The data shown below was pulled from the Green Electricity Guide (GEG) by Greenpeace.
AGL scored relatively high in its overall support for renewable energy, with an impressive 8 out of 10.
However, this is the only category AGL had high marks on. They scored zeroes in every other category
On the other hand, Lumo Energy performed remarkably in almost every category with multiple 10s with the only exception being “halting fossil fuel expansion” where they scored a zero.
The overall rating given by the Green Energy Guide has AGL listed at a terrible 1.2 out of 10 and Lumo Energy at an above-average score of 6.6 out of 10.
