Alinta Energy vs Simply Energy – Customer Service

How much you spend is one thing, but what about how your energy company treats you.

When you’ve got a problem or questions, you want to know that your energy company cares about your concerns.

Not only that but you want to know that you’ve got options about how you go about settling your account.

That’s why in this next section we’re going to be looking at what each of these providers offers in terms of customer service.

Alinta Energy

Alinta Energy has been in and amongst the awards for their customer service.

For starters, they picked up a gold medal for their customer service from the Customer Service Council at the institution’s 12th annual awards in 2014.

This was in the Medium Enterprise or Division of Business category and is a nationwide award.

Then in 2016, Reader’s Digest decided to honour them with a Quality Service Award for their work as an electricity provider.

Alinta also offers a variety of ways for you to settle your bill.

Because it’s the 21st Century, they’ve got your online options sorted.

You can use their online secure payment service or your credit card.

You can also pay your bill via BPAY or go a bit more old school with a direct debit from your bank account.

For those of you stuck in the 20th Century though, you can still pay your bill over the phone or down at the post office.

Not to mention you can always send a cheque in the mail.

Alinta Rewards is the other, big, advantage to Alinta’s service.

If you’re an Alinta Energy customer all you have to do is log in to your account, and get access to discounts on everything from movies to theme park visits to electronics.

Simply Energy

Simply Energy has also been cleaning up when it comes to awards recognition.

Particularly in the past two years.

Just last year they scored a Most Satisfied Dual Fuel Customers in the country award from Canstar Blue.

They’ve also been picking up some regional awards, such as a Most Satisfied Customers in South Australia award from Canstar Blue As well, defending a title they won in 2016.

They’ve also been recognised for their natural gas service in SA, winning a Most Satisfied Customers Award in 2016.

So if you’re looking for great service, Simply might be the provider you’re looking for.

Like most quality providers, they also give you a bunch of ways to settle your account.

You can do it online, via BPAY, PayPal, or by direct debit.

Or you can also pop down to the post office and settle your bill there.

You also might want to take a look at Simply Thanks!

Simply Thanks is a great promotion that Simply Energy is offering.

All you have to do is be a customer, and you’ll go in the draw to win a $500 EFTPOS gift card!

They offer lots of extra ways to get bonus entries in the draw as well, signing up for direct debit.

You’ll also be rewarded for your loyalty as well, the longer you’re a customer, the more entries you’ll receive.
