Call Electricity Monster today or click on the link below and one of our energy experts will review your energy plan and help you renew today.

How Green is Sumo Energy?

This table depicts figures from the 2022 Green Electricity Guide Aviss Consulting report. The 2022 methodology for the study evaluates energy companies based on 6 main criteria with a score of 0 to 10 for each category.

Sumo Energy scored a 3.54 overall which places them in the mid-tier for green energy providers.

Though Sumo Energy may have scored low in categories like supporting renewable energy and transparency in marketing, the Green Electricity Guide credits them for halting fossil fuel expansion.

Sumo Energy is not involved with the extraction of fossil fuels. However, their non-commitment to clean renewable energy and a lack of transparency in their marketing materials could be an issue for some.
