This is ideal for customers who have either been with Origin Energy for years or simply prefer the retailer over others. Sumo also offers a monthly bundle discount when you bundle one of its unlimited data NBN plans with either gas or electricity.

However, it’s important to note that while these discounts are attractive at first glance, there are some disadvantages. For example, Sumo’s monthly bundle discount is slightly higher than Origin Energy, but in order to be eligible for it, you’ll need to sign up for either a 12 or 24-month contract – which locks you into Sumo’s service for a lengthy period of time. Choosing to leave before the contract ends can result in an early termination fee which can be quite expensive.
